Christmas is a magical time of year, promoting the values that we all want to see in the world: love and goodwill; generosity, family and community. And yet, Christmas can be tainted with consumerism and materialism that stands between these values and our wish to become better humans and protect our planet.
So we have invited our beautiful traders, team and community from the Boiler House Market to put on a particular weekly event throughout December, including talks, social and community charity initiatives and a Christmas market offering ethical and sustainable food, drinks and retail products to inspire Christmas eco-shopping without the guilt and anxiety!
Plant-based street food – our awesome street food trader community will be taking over the ground floor, offering a plethora or delicious vegan streetfood delights! Look out for Tofish & Chips, Mighty Weiners, Null Amors American BBQ, Abigail’s vegan cupcakes and tonnes more exciting street food concessions!

NEAR MINT CLUB @nearmintclub – we’re joining forces with the excellent Near Mint Club record fair, who will be bringing a whopping 25 stands of highly coveted second-hand records to get stuck into under the Mezz on Sunday 8th!

Refugee Postcards – Christmas is a time of year when traditionally we are home with our loved ones. But a vast number of people across the globe do not have homes to go to and won’t have the chance to be with their loved ones at any point this year. The inspiring photography exhibition, Refugee Postcards, reminds us of the situation that many people are facing in the world today, evoking deep gratitude and appreciation for what we have, and hopefully inspiring generosity towards those who have less.
